Bicycle NSW would like to invite the students of Association of Remedial Masseurs to gain practical sport/event experience in massage therapy through the Gear Up Girl Challenge on Saturday 6th March.
The Gear Up Girl Challenge is organised by Bicycle NSW, with the support of the RTA, NSW Police, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, NSW Ambulance, St John First Aid personnel, plus hundreds of hard working and happy volunteers. We all work together to provide a fun and safe women’s only cycle-friendly route from the beautiful beaches of Cronulla to the tranquil parklands of Bicentennial Park. Go to www.gearupgirl.com.au for full event details.
We would like to invite the students of Association of Remedial Masseurs to be involved in this cycling spectacular, as we believe it will be a great opportunity for students to see a live event in action and practice their massage therapy skills in a live environment.
Students are encouraged to apply for one of the massage Volunteer positions available. These positions involve working side by side with an experienced massage volunteer.
Bicycle NSW believe this type of experience to be extremely valuable to students with a vested interest in massage therapy. It is a great opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a very practical situation.
If the students are up for the challenge, all they need to do is complete the application form attached to advise us of your availability and preferred volunteer position. Or go to www.gearupgirl.com.au Sydney page, click on the volunteer link (top left corner) to fill out an online application form.
If you would like to discuss this opportunity further, please contact me on the details below.
Yours sincerely
