VENUE CHANGE
Welcome to our 4th Issue. Our most important news item to report is the change of venue for our November 9 Workshop and General Meeting.
As a one-off trial, we will be holding our Workshop and General Meeting in the Meeting Room beside the Bethany Holistic Health Centre - across a small courtyard from our Head Office. The close proximity of the Head Office means all the usual packing, hauling, and unloading of the workshop and meeting material and equipment will not be necessary. Neither will it have to be repacked and returned.
The address is 18A Margaret Street, Strathfield. Off-road parking is provided in the school grounds next door, and we'll have someone directing our traffic to the right area to make it easy for everyone. Lunch will be provided as usual.
Along with our Polarity Workshop and General Meeting, we have invited a representative from ATMS to outline the information they have put together on the options regard¬ing Statutory Registration for Complementary Medicine Practitioners.
Our high-functioning data base is in place, with an "alert system" identifying members who need to update their First Aid, Insurance or CPE. Correcting each member's file, to keep the data base accurate and fully functional, is our main focus.
It is absolutely necessary for your Renewal Forms to be completed and returned to our Head Office. Our Admin-istrative system depends on it. Payment of your annual fee is not the only requirement, if you want to be correctly recorded on our Data Base and on the Health Funds Pro¬vider lists.
All the information you provide on our Renewal Forms is entered into our new data base. This is the information
we store in your file, and the information we send to the Health Funds, so you can be on their Provider lists. We keep your completed form on file, as written proof of the information you provided to us.
We need a record of all your correct information (like cur¬rent work addresses, phone numbers and email address) in writing from you. You can email the completed form as an attachment if you prefer to do it that way. If we don't have your Renewal Form on file, we don't have you on file as an active member.
There are many members who have paid their renewal fee over the phone and never returned the completed form, although asked and promised. Please help us help you - complete and return your form as soon as possible, so our records and data base is accurate. If you have misplaced your form we can post, fax or email you another one, when requested, it's never a problem.
A warm welcome is extended to our newest members: Ste¬ven George, Chen Dongning, Diana Adam, and Sharon Mitchell. The steady flow of returning members, after a number of years away, is encouraging.
